Hyundai Venue Petrol Automatic High In Demand
35% of the demand for the Venue is specifically for the 1.0L GDI, turbo petrol automatic variant.
Hyundai Venue subcompact SUV, which was launched last month, has been doing good for the South Korean carmaker in the country. The company sold over 7,000 units of the vehicle with over 20,000 bookings in just 8 days of its arrival. 35 per cent of the demand for the Venue is specifically for the 1.0L GDI, turbocharged petrol automatic variant, followed by the 1.0L GDI manual version.
While the diesel model accounts 40 percent of the total demand, the 1.2L Kappa manual petrol version received least attention from buyers. Most of the bookings have come for the SX and fully-loaded SX (O) trims. The Hyundai Venue has been made available with two petrol and a diesle engine options. The 1.0L, 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol motor comes with a 6-speed manual and a dual-clutch automatic transmission, and makes power worth 118bhp with 172Nm. The naturally-aspirated 1.2L, 4-cylinder petrol mill, with a 5-speed manual gearbox, delivers 82bhp with 114Nm. The 89bhp, 1.4L, 4-cylinder, turbocharged diesel is paired to a 6-speed manual transmission.
