The Honda CB 150R ExMotion is reported to hit Indian roads early next year.

According to a latest report, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has patented the Honda CB 150R ExMotion naked sport bike. The 150cc motorcycle was first previewed in its concept form as Honda 150SS Racer at the 2017 Bangkok Motor Show. The production-ready version of the concept named as the Honda CB 150R ExMotion which is already on sale in Thailand at 99,800 baht (Rs 1.92 lakh).

While the bikemaker has been tight lipped about its India launch, the Honda CB 150R ExMotion is reported to hit our shores early next year. If launched in India, the naked sport bike could be made available in two variants – ABS and Non-ABS. The company will heavily localize the vehicle to achieve the competitive pricing.

In Thailand, the Honda CB 150R ExMotion Non-ABS version is available in four colour schemes – Millennium Red, Pearl Cadet Gray, Asteroid Black Metallic and Mat Laurel Green Metallic. Powering the Honda CB 150R ExMotion is a 149cc, 4-valve, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine paired to a 6-speed gearbox. This fuel injected motor meets the Euro 6 emission norms. Its power and torque outputs stand at 16.8bhp and 13.7Nm respectively. Inspired by Honda’s bike bikes, the CB 150R ExMotion features LED headlamp, 10 spoke alloy wheels, spilt seats, new LED taillamp and a multifunction digital LCD instrument console. Based on an Inner Pivot type diamond type frame, the new Honda 150cc bike features a 41mm upside down front fork and monoshock suspension unit at the rear axle.
