Among the slew of upcoming Honda bikes, the one that comes on the top of our list is the XRE 300. This will be an adventurer tourer and will pit against segment leader Royal Enfield Himalayan. Just so you know, Honda has even patented this bike in India. And if all goes as planned, this bike could be seen at the next year’s Auto Expo at Greater Noida. Power on this prowess will come from the 291.6cc, fuel-injected, single cylinder engine tuned to make 25.4bhp against 27.6Nm torque and transmission duties will be carried out by the 5-speed gearbox. Honda had brought this motorcycle to the 2016 EICMA motor show and it is expected that the two-wheeler manufacturer will put it on display at the 2018 Auto Expo in February next year. For generating power, this upcoming Honda bike will use the same engine that powers it currently, though it will be modified slightly. That said, the engine will come with larger intake and exhaust system for improved performance. Power output will be at 89bhp and torque will be around 62Nm. Mated to a six-speed unit, the power will be transmitted to the rear wheel. In addition, it will come with a new 41mm Showa dual bending valve front forks and a 7-step adjustable monoshock at rear.
