Hero XPulse Adventure Bike Teased; Launching Soon

2018 Hero XPulse 200 India

Previewed at the 2018 Auto Expo, the Hero XPulse is the logical successor of the Impulse 150cc bike in India.

Hero MotoCorp has dropped a teaser picture of its upcoming XPulse 200 adventure motorcycle. With a tag “Gear up”, the image shows accessories of the bike including a helmet, fingerless gloves, leather boots and a satchel bag. Previewed at the 2018 Auto Expo, the Hero XPulse is the logical successor of the Impulse 150cc bike in India. The adventure motorcycle first broke cover at the EICMA 2017.

According to a fresh report, the Hero XPulse will hit showroom in December, 2018. However, there is no official word about its launch date and details. The adventure bike will put up against the Royal Enfield Himalayan, and is estimated to be priced around Rs 1 lakh. Hero XPulse Teaser

Talking about the engine, the Hero XPulse sources its power from a 200cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder engine pushing out a peak power of 18bhp and 17Nm of torque. The motor features two valves and single overhead camshaft, and is boosted with fuel injection system. It’s the same powertrain that does duty in the all-new Hero Xtreme R200 naked street bike.

At the suspension front, the bike gets 190mm long travel and a 10-step adjustable monoshock with 170mm long travel unit at the front and rear axles. The bike comes fitted with dual-purpose tyres and spoke wheels. It gets disc brake on both the wheels along with a single-channel ABS (antilock braking system). Some of its key features include LED headlamp with a large protective windshield, endure-bike-styled handlebar, seat with upright stance, knuckle guards and digital speedo console.
