New Hero XF3R 300cc Motorcycle Is Coming To Challenge Bajaj Dominar

Hero XF3R

Upon its launch, the Hero XF3R will rival the Bajaj Dominar 400 and the Benelli TNT 300.

Hero MotoCorp has recently entered into the 200cc motorcycle segment with Xtreme 200R. If latest media report is to be believed, the homegrown automaker is planning to launch 3-4 new bikes in the 200-300cc space. One such product is the production version of the Hero XF3R concept, which was showcased by the brand back in 2016 Auto Expo. In fact, reports claim that the company has already started the development work. Upon its launch, the Hero XF3R will rival the Bajaj Dominar 400 and the Benelli TNT 300.

The new Hero XF3R naked roadster is expected to be launched in India in early 2020. This motorcycle will be powered by a 300cc, single-cylinder engine with liquid cooling, four valve head, twin-overhead camshafts along with fuel injection. The company hasn’t released the engine specs, but we expect it to produce close to 30bhp and 30Nm of power and torque respectively. A 6-speed gearbox will be on offer.

Hero MotoCorp will be aiming at aggressive pricing for this motorcycle. We believe that the motorcycle will undercut its all rivals including Bajaj Dominar 400. Expect pricing somewhere between Rs 1.5 lakh – Rs 1.8 lakh. The XF3R concept looks quite aggressive and sporty, and same could be offered in the production ready model as well. It features conventional street fighter style headlamp and mesh-type alloy wheel design, aggressive fuel tank, twin-port exhaust system, LED tail-lights with integrated turn indicators, USD forks, etc.

What is more interesting is that Hero MotoCorp will sell this motorcycle via its new premium dealership network. Additionally, Hero will also sell exclusive merchandise and parts through this dealership. The company will soon launch the Hero XPulse 200 Adventure motorcycle in the country.
