The Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer is now available in India at Rs 9.32 lakh (ex-showroom).

Ducati India has introduced the all-new Scrambler Cafe Racer at Rs 9,32,000 (ex-showroom, India). This new motorcycle is now available across all Ducati dealerships in Delhi NCR, Pune, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Kochi. The Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer also has a dedicated line of accessories and apparel.

Commenting on the launch, Sergi Canovas Garriga, Managing Director of Ducati India said, “This motorcycle is a modern interpretation of the legendary Café Racer scene from the 1960s that triggered a motorcycling revolution. It represents the expression of free spirit and is an icon of style for enthusiasts. We’re very confident that with the Ducati Scrambler Café Racer, we will successfully bring the global cultural phenomenon to India as well.”

Power source for the Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer is a 803cc twin-cylinder , air and oil-cooled engine benefited with fuel injection technology. The Desmodue power unit features black-trimmed covers and machined cooling fins. It meets the Euro 4 emission norms, and comes paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The new Ducati bike rides on cast aluminium 17-inch wheels shod with 120/70 ZR 17 front and 180/55 ZR17 rear Pirelli DIABLO ROSSO II tyres. The motorcycle has a Brembo braking system with Bosch 9.1 MP ABS (anti-lock braking system) with a pressure sensor. What further enhances its braking performance is the radial-type front brake. Ducati claims that the Scrambler Cafe Racer has a perfect blend of the Scrambler brand’s design language and a sporty riding position. Visually, the bike looks quite aggressive with features such as rear-view mirror mounted aluminium clip-on handlebars, black anodized aluminium cover, Termignoni exhaust with dual tailpipes and a dedicated “cafe racer” seat featuring a cover for the passenger section. Up front, the Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer features headlamp with glass lens, LED light-guide and painted fairing, LED rear lights with diffusion light, sports styling front mudguard. The bike also gets steel tank with interchangeable aluminium side panels, machine finished aluminium belt covers, LCD instruments with interchangeable aluminium cover and under seat storage compartment with USB socket.
