BS6 Suzuki Burgman Street Launch Price Rs 77,900
Suzuki Motorcycles India has rolled out the BS6-complint Burgman Street scooter at Rs 77,900 (ex-showroom). With the launch of updated model, the bikemaker has discontinued its BS4 version. The BS6 Suzuki Burgman Street 125 made its public debut at the recently-concluded Auto Expo 2020. The scooter has received fuel injection technology, integrated engine start system and an engine kill switch. All these features not only improve its ride quality and reduce carbon emissions as well.
Powering the BS6 Suzuki Burgman Street is the same all-aluminum 124cc, single-cylinder 4 stroke engine boosted with Suzuki Eco Performance technology. The motor pushes out a peak power of 8.7PS at 6750rpm and 10Nm of torque at 5500rpm. Its FI system ensures smooth power delivery and optimum combustion efficiency. Besides the updated engine, the scooter receives chrome treatment on the front and rear along with the upward muffler design and body-mounted windscreen. Some of its key features include LED headlamps, functional front glove box with DC socket and more. It comes in a choice of 4 colour options – Metallic Matte Bordeaux Red, Metallic Mat Fibroin Gray, Metallic Matte Black No.2 and Pearl Mirage White. No other changes have been made to the scooter. Similar to the BS4 version, the BS6 Suzuki Burgman Street 125 comes fitted with telescopic forks and monoshock unit at the rear for performing suspension duties. It gets disc brake up front and a rear drum brake along with combined braking system (CBS).
