BS6 Suzuki Burgman Street, MotoGP Edition Unveiled Ahead of Launch
Suzuki Motorcycle India has unveiled the new BS6 Suzuki Burgman Street scooter at the Auto Expo 2020. Alongside, the two-wheeler maker showcased the MotoGP edition in the signature racing colour. Currently, the BS4 Burgman Street is available at Rs 71,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Its updated version is likely to be priced premium by round Rs 5,000. Depending on the response, the company might consider the Suzuki Burgman Street MotoGP Edition for the Indian market.
Talking about the BS6 Suzuki Burgman Street, the model comes painted in a new matte finished red colour. It also gets the engine start/stop button. No other design changes have been made to the scooter. The vehicle’s Moto GP Edition features Suzuki Ecstar decals across the bodywork as we have seen in the Gixxer SF 155 MotoGP.
For power, the BS6 Suzuki Burgman Street uses the BS6-compliant 124cc, air-cooled motor which is now benefited with fuel-injection technology. While power figure remains unchanged i.e. 8.6bhp, it comes at 6750rpm. The torque output has been reduced by 0.2Nm. Similar to the old model, it gets telescopic forks and monoshock suspension system along with the disc brake up front and a rear drum brake.
