BS6 Honda Activa 6G, Activa 125 and SP 125 Prices Increased
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has increased prices of the BS6-compliant Activa 6G, Activa 125 scooters and SP 125 motorcycle. Now, the Honda Activa 6G Std and DLX variants are available at Rs 63,912 and Rs 65,412 respectively. The BS6 Honda Activa 125, on the other hand, comes in three variants – Drum, Alloy/Drum and Alloy/Disc.
The entry-level Drum variant can be had by paying a sum of Rs 68,042, while the alloy/drum and alloy/disc models are priced at Rs 71,542 and Rs 75,042 respectively. Both scooters witnessed a marginal price hike of Rs 552 over their old models. Similarly, the BS6 Honda SP 125 that comes in two variants (Drum brake and Disc brake), gets expensive by Rs 552. Its base model is now available at Rs 73,452 and the premium variant costs Rs 77,652. All prices are ex-showroom.
Powering the Honda SP 125 commuter is a 125cc, single-cylinder engine benefited with PGM-FI (programmed fuel injection) system and Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) technology. The motor comes paired to a 5-speed gearbox, and delivers a peak power of 10.5bhp and 10.3Nm of peak torque. The bike also gets an ACG starter and an engine kill switch. Powering the BS6 Honda Activa 125 is a 124cc single-cylinder motor that makes a top power 8.1bhp at 6,500rpm and 10.3Nm of peak torque at 5,000rpm. On the other hand, the BS6 Honda Activa 6G comes powered by a 109.51cc, single-cylinder engine that’s good for 7.6bhp at 8,000rpm and 8.79Nm at 5,250rpm.
