Honda Activa 6G Launch Price Rs 63,912; 10% Better Mileage

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) today rolled out the sixth generation of its highly popular Activa scooter. Called Honda Activa 6G, the new model comes at a starting price of Rs 63,912 (ex-showroom) that makes it around Rs 8,900 more expensive than the previous generation.

The Honda Activa 6G has been made available in two variants – Standard and Deluxe. updated version of the scooter meets the upcoming Bharat Stage VI (BS6) emission standards.

Honda Activa 6G Details

The Honda Activa 6G derives its power from the BS6-ready 109.22cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine pushing out a maximum power of 7.68bhp at 8,000rpm and a peak torque of 9Nm at 5,500rpm.

The scooter also has an ACG starter borrowed from the recently-launched BS6 Activa 125. It comes in six colour options – Glitter Blue Metallic, Pearl Spartan Red, Matte Axis Grey Metallic, Black, Dazzle Yellow Metallic and Pearl Percious White.

On the features front, the Honda Activa 6G gets a new LED headlamp with LED DRLs, revised front apron, chrome side body panels, new side turn indicator and 12-inch alloy wheels. It’s claimed to offer best-in-class ground clearance. The scooter also comes with a digital instrument console with multi-information display.

Aiming to enhance its braking performance, the company equips the new Honda Activa 6G with front disc and rear drum brakes along with the standard CBS (Combi Braking System). The new telescopic front and monoshock rear unit perform suspension duties.
