BS6 Ford Endeavour, Freestyle, Aspire, Figo Bookings Begin

Ford India has started accepting pre-bookings for the BS6-compliant version of the Endeavour SUV, Freestyle crossover, Aspire sedan and Figo hatchback. Just so you know, the BS6 (Bharat Stage VI) emission norms will be implemented across the nation from 1st April, 2020. All the updated models will be priced premium over their BS4 versions. While the BS6 Ford Figo, Aspire and Freestyle might witness price hike similar to the BS6 EcoSport (i.e. up to Rs 13,000), the BS6 Ford Endeavour will see significant price jump. At present, the Endeavour SUV comes in the price range of Rs 29.2 lakh – Rs 34.7 lakh (ex-showroom).

BS6 Ford Aspire Price

We have reported earlier that the updated BS6 Ford Endeavour will come with a new 2.0 single-turbo diesel engine and a 10-speed automatic gearbox. The oil burner pushes out a peak power of 180PS and a peak torque of 420Nm. The existing BS4 2.2L and 3.2L diesel engines will be discontinued from the SUV lineup.

Talking about the BS6 Ford Figo and Aspire, the hatchback and sedan will be offered with the BS6-compliant version of the existing 1.2L petrol and a 1.5L diesel engine options. While the gasoline mill makes a peak power of 96PS with 120Nm, the oil burner delivers 100PS with 215Nm.

BS6 Ford Figo Price

The automatic variants of the Figo hatchback and Aspire sedan were recently discontinued. The BS6 Ford Freestyle will also continue to come with the existing engine setup, albeit the BS6 version. Besides the BS6-ready powertrais, the updated Ford models come fitted with Ford Pass connected car technology. The company is providing an eSIM for the in-car connected system working on 4G connectivity. One has to download the Ford Pass app and register his/her model by creating an account and sharing a few basic information. It comes with three different operating sections – Move, Find and Guides.
