2020 Suzuki SV 650 Specs

2020 Suzuki SV 650, the mid-sized V-twin roadster, has been revealed for the global market. The bike will be first launched in the Japanese market, followed by other nations. It might also make its way to India in near future, though there is no official word on the same. Powering the 2020 Suzuki SV 650 is 645cc, V-twin engine that’s good for 77PS and 64Nm of torque. The motor promises powerful torque even at lower RPM. For performing transmission duties, the bike gets a 6-speed gearbox. The new SV 650 sits on the lightweight chassis that ensures easy handling and manoeuvring.

The suspension setup of the bike includes a 41m telescopic right way upfront forks with 125mm travel at front and link-type 63mm pre-load adjustable unit at the rear. The upgraded four-piston front brake callipers and switchable ABS (anti-lock braking system) further enhance its braking performance. It also comes equipped with some advanced rider technology such as low RPM assist and Suzuki Easy Start System.

The bike has been assembled with five-spoke cast aluminium wheels shod with Dunlop radial sport 120/70ZR17M/C front and 160/60ZR17M/C rear tyres. It offers a narrow, streamlined seat with 785mm of height. It comes in three colour options – Mystic Silver and Matte Black Metallic with dual-tone finish on the frame and Glass Sparkle Black with all-black frame, body and components.
