BS6 Suzuki Gixxer 250, Gixxer SF 250 Prices Leaked
Suzuki Motorcycle India recently launched its BS6-compliant motorcycles – Gixxer 150 and Gixxer SF 150. While the former has been made available at Rs 1.21 lakh, the latter one is priced at Rs 1.21 lakh. The BS6 Suzuki Gixxer SF MotoGP Edition costs Rs 1.22 lakh. Now, the company is getting ready to roll out the BS6 Suzuki Gixxer 250 and Gixxer SF 250.
Ahead of their official launch, prices of the updated models have leaked on the web. According to leaked information, the BS6 Suzuki Gixxer 250 will be priced at Rs 1,65,147 and the BS6 Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 will be offered at Rs 1,74,846. This means, the updated models will get expensive by Rs 5347 and Rs 5191 respectively.
Powering the bikes will be the same 249cc, single-cylinder engine, which is now boosted with fuel injection system. The official power and torque figures are yet to be revealed. In its BS4 version, the bike promises a peak power of 26.1bhp at 9,000rpm and 22.6Nm at 7,500rpm. Transmission duties will be done by a 6-speed gearbox.
No changes will be made to its design and features. The 2020 Suzuki Gixxer 250 and Gixxer SF 250 will be equipped with 41mm telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock suspension system. The list of features will continue to include the LED headlamp, brush finished alloy wheels, LED taillamp, twin muffler and a digital instrument cluster.
