2020 Suzuki Intruder 150 Launch Price is Rs 1.2 Lakh
Suzuki Motorcycle has launched the 2020 Intruder in the Indian two-wheeler market. The 2020 Suzuki Intruder BS6 is available at a price tag of Rs 1.2 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new BSVI model is around Rs 12,000 expensive over the BS4 Intruder FI variant.
Suzuki had showcased the Intruder BSVI model at the 2020 Auto Expo. Besides upgraded engine, the BSVI model remains largely identical to the BS4 variant. It is powered by the updated 155cc air-cooled and fuel-injected engine, which now gets a catalytic convertor to help clear BSVI emission norms. Also See – 2020 Suzuki Gixxer, Gixxer SF Launched
The new BSVI compliant 155cc engine is capable of producing 13.6PS of power at 8,000rpm and 13.8Nm of torque at 6,000rpm. Compared to the BS4 engine, the BSVI compliant motor offers 1.2PS and 0.2Nm less power and torque respectively. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via a 5-speed gearbox.
In terms of styling, the 2020 Suzuki Intruder features the same halogen headlamp, LED tail-light and bulb-type turn indicators. It has low 740mm seat height and a 11-litre fuel tank. The kerb weight has been reduced by 4kg. Suspension mechanism comprise of telescopic fork at the front and monoshock unit at the rear. For braking, the motorcycle gets disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) as standard. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch wheels shod with 100/80 and 140/60 section tyres at the front and rear respectively.
