2020 Hyundai Verna To Come in 4 Variants, 6 Colours

The South Korean carmaker is all set to give a mid-life update to the Hyundai Verna mid-size sedan. Prices of the vehicle will be announced on 26th March, 2020. Prior to its official launch, the carmaker has begun taking pre-orders at token amount of Rs 25,000. The company has confirmed that the 2020 Hyundai Verna facelift will be offered in four variants – S (petrol only), S+ (diesel only), SX and SX (O).

The fully-loaded SX (O) will be exclusively offered with a 118bhp, 1.0L turbocharged petrol engine hooked with a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The lineup will also come with a 115bhp, 1.5L, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol motor that can be had either with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic gearbox. The diesel variants will be powered by a 115bhp, 1.5L engine that will come with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox option.

2020 Hyundai Verna facelift Launch

The 2020 Hyundai Verna facelift will be made available in 6 paint schemes – Starry Night, Phantom Black, Titan Grey, Polar White, Fiery Red and Typhoon Silver. The sedan’s updated model is packed with several first-in-segment features including Arkamys premium sound system, digital cluster, emergency stop signal, ECO coating, rear USB charger, front ventilated seats, luggage net & hooks, wireless charger, twin tip muffler design and small trunk. The new Verna also comes with BlueLink connected car services providing access to climate control (AT), engine start/stop (AT), vehicle status information, door lock/unlock and notifications via a Smart Watch. Its voice enabled features can be accessed by saying ‘Hello Blue Link’ such as tracking live cricket scores, weather check, calling, media control and map control and time and date.

Prices of the 2020 Hyundai Verna facelift will be more or less similar to the current model that costs between Rs 8.17 lakh – Rs 14.07 lakh (all, ex-showroom).
