The Creta is available in 5 trim levels and in total of 14 variants. While the petrol range is available in the price bracket of Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs 17.20 lakh, the diesel version is priced between Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs 17.2 lakh.

The MG Hector is available in petrol and diesel versions. While the petrol version is priced between Rs 12.74 lakh and Rs 17.44 lakh, the diesel range is available in the price range of Rs 13.48 lakh and Rs 17.28 lakh. The Harrier is priced between Rs 13.69 lakh and Rs 20.25 lakh.

The new Creta sits lower than the Harrier and the Hector in terms of proportions. It measures 4,300mm in length, 1,790mm in width and 1,635mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,610mm. The SUV has a turning radius of 5.3 meters, and the ground clearance stands at 190mm. The second-gen Creta has a luggage carrying capacity of 444-litres, which is around 11mm bigger than the Seltos.

MG Hector

On the other hand, the MG Hector is 4,655mm, 1,835mm, 1,760mm and 2,750mm in length, width, height and wheelbase respectively. The SUV has a ground clearance of 192mm, while the turning radius 5.95m. It comes with a boot space of 587-litres, which is also the segment-largest. Talking about the Harrier, the SUV measures 4,598mm in length, 1,894mm in width and 1,714mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,741mm. The Tata Harrier has a ground clearance of 205mm, which is segment-largest. It comes with a boot space of 425-litres.

2020 Harrier Highway Performance

The MG Hector is available with 2 engine options – a 143bhp, 1.5-litre petrol with 6MT and 6AT, and a 171bhp, 2.0L diesel with 6-speed manual gearbox. The Tata Harrier is available in single diesel engine option. It is powered by a 170bhp, 2.0-litre diesel engine with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox options.

The new Creta is equipped with advanced Blue Link connected car technology, which now has voice-activated features. Similar to the Seltos UVO system, this system offers safety, convenience, remote access, navigation and vehicle management.

The MG Hector also gets the connected car tech, called the iSmart tech offering more than 50 connected features. These features are very similar to the one we have seen in the new Creta and the new Seltos. The Tata Harrier is not available with any such features, but the company could introduce such connected car tech in the near future.
