The new 2019 Yamaha FZ V3.0 is available in two variants – FZ FI and FZS FI.
India Yamaha Motor (IYM) has rolled out the third-generation FZ motorcycle range with single-channel ABS in the country. Available in two variants – FZ FI and FZS FI, the 2019 Yamaha FZ V3.0 has been priced at Rs 95,000 and Rs 97,000 respectively. Alongside, the bikemaker also introduced the 2019 Yamaha FZ 25 and Fazer 25 with dual-channel ABS at Rs 1.33 lakh and Rs 1.43 lakh respectively. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
The 2019 Yamaha FZ V3.0 shares some of its styling cues with the FZ25. The new 150cc naked streetfighter looks beefier and gets more modern features than before. The new FZ FI and FZS FI come with a Blue Core technology driven 149cc engine with new settings delivering 13.2PS and 12.8Nm of torque. Besides this, the bike gets exclusive colour schemes – Metric Black and Racing Blue for FZ and Matt Black, Dark Matt Blue and Gray & Cyan Blue for FZ S FI.

With new styling, better features, updated powertrain and of-course Bosch single channel ABS, the new Yamaha FZ is slightly more expensive than the previous model. The new FZ FI comes with a price tag of Rs 95,000, thus making it Rs 12,960 costlier than before. The new FZ S FI, on the other hand, is being offered at Rs 97,000. 2019 Yamaha FZ V3.0 Specifications
As mentioned above, the new 2019 Yamaha FZ features the Blue Core concept driven 149cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with settings and a compression ratio of 9:5:1. This motor dishes out a maximum power output of 13.2PS at 8,000rpm and 12.8Nm of torque at 6,000rpm. The bike sits on a newly designed sub frame and has Bosch single channel ABS (anti-lock braking system) in the front wheel. For performing transmission duties, the bike gets a 5-speed gearbox.

2019 Yamaha FZ V3.0 Design
The third-generation Yamaha FZ continues to inherit FZ’s signature styling. Though, it gets some significant changes inspired by the bigger FZ25 sibling such as mudguargs. The naked streetbike has separate housing for LED headlamp beams. The handle bar position has been raised. Sitting on the newly-designed sub frame, the bike features two level seat with comfortable grab bars. There is a main switch in the front of the tank. Styling bits such as newly-designed plastic resin tank cover, a lower engine fairing and partly chrome finished air intake add more to its new look. 2019 Yamaha FZ V3.0 Suspension & Braking System
Suspension duties on the bike are performed by the conventional telescopic forks at the front and monoshock unit at the rear. Braking duties are carried out by disc brakes at the front and rear. Additionally, the motorcycle receives Bosch single-channel ABS system as standard at the front wheel.
