2019 Volkswagen Polo & Vento Facelift To Launch On 4th September – Report

The 2019 Volkswagen Polo hatchback and Vento sedan facelifts will be launched in India on coming 4th September. Both models will see minor cosmetic upgrades along with new safety features. No changes will be made to their powertrains. The Volkswagen Polo will continue to face challenge from the Maruti Suzuki Swift, Ford Figo and the newly-launched Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, while the Volkswagen Vento till take on Honda City, Hyundai Verna and Maurti Suzuki Ciaz.

Talking about the Volkswagen Polo, the hatchback will receive a new mesh pattern grille and airdams similar to the GTI. The headlamps and taillamps will also be revised. It will get a rear spoiler and a newly-designed rear bumper. Read – Volkswagen Tarek To Challenge Jeep Compass In India

New Volkswagen Vento 2019

The 2019 Volkswagen Vento, on the other hand, will feature sportier side skirts, revised bodywork and newly-designed headlights and taillamps. Inside, the mid-sized sedan might get new upholstery along with subtle feature upgrades. Safety features such as rear parking sensors, front seat belt reminders and a speed alert system will be made standard across 2019 Polo and Vento carlines. The 2019 Volkswagen Polo facelift is likely to be offered with the 76bhp, 1.0L petrol and 90bhp, 1.5L diesel engine options. The Polo GT will continue to use the 105bhp, 1.2L turbocharged petrol and 110bhp, 1.5L diesel powertrains. The 2019 Volkswagen Vento facelift will come with the same 105bhp, 1.6L petrol and 105bhp, 1.2L turbo petrol and 110bhp, 1.5L diesel engines. All these powertrains will be discontinued after the BS6 implementation.
