All-New Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Launched; Prices Start At Rs 4.99 Lakh
Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, the new-generation of the Grand i10 hatchback, has finally been launched in India. The hatchback comes in 7 petrol variants and 3 diesel trims (Magna, Sportz and Asta), priced from Rs 4.99 lakh to Rs 7.99 lakh (all, ex-showroom Delhi). The new Grand i10 Nios will be sold alongside the previous generation model. The latter could be discontinued once the BS6 emission norms will be implemented from 1st April, 2020.

Design of the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios looks sleeker and more refreshing than its predecessor. The front fascia has been updated with a new cascading glossy black radiator grille, sharper projector headlamps with boomerang-shaped LED DRLs, new projector fog lamps (first-in-segment) and sculpted bumper with aggressive creases.
The dual-tone diamond cut alloy wheels, bold shoulder lines and new floating style roof design with integrated roof rails and shark fin antenna further enhance its new sporty looks. It also gets wraparound taillamps and rear chrome garnish (first-in-segment). The new Hyundai Grand i10 Nios comes in multiple colours – Alpha Blue, Aqua Teal, Titan Grey, Typhoon Silver, Fiery Red and Polar White along with two dual-tone shades – Polar White dual-tone and Aqua Teal dual-tone. The sporty theme continues inside the cabin as well. The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios gets dual-tone (White & Black) treatment along with features such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, multi-function steering wheel, twin pod instrument console with MID, auto climate control with rear AC vents, premium seat upholster, and wireless charging (segment-first).
The hatchback has more cabin space to offer, thanks to its larger dimensions. Now, the hatchback measures 3805mm long, 1680mm wide and 1520mm tall with a wheelbase of 2450mm. No changes have been made under the skin. Similar to the previous generation, the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios comes with the 81bhp, 1.2L Kappa petrol and the 74bhp, 1.2L CRDi diesel engine options. Both powertrains now meet the upcoming BS6 emission norms. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and an AMT (Automated Manual Transmission). While the petrol variants deliver mileage of 20.7kmpl (MT) and 20.5kmpl (AMT), the diesel models returns 26.2kmpl (MT) and 28.4kmpl (AMT).
