The 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC comes with revised styling, new driving assistance systems and a new range of engines.

German luxury carmaker, Mercedes-Benz has officially revealed the new 2019 Mercedes GLC facelift. The 2019 model comes with revised styling, new driving assistance systems and a new range of engines. The SUV gets chrome enhancement, redesigned headlamps and the heavily contoured radiator grille.

The 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC comes with MBUX that includes touchscreen multimedia displays, navigation with augmented reality, intelligent voice control via the talk button or the “Hey Mercedes” prompt, connectivity and the user interface. It features Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC and Active Steer Assist that offers support to help the driver to steer and to keep a safe distance. The speed is adjusted automatically ahead of bends or junctions. Active Steer Assist helps with forming an emergency corridor and with changing lens. The risk of potential collisions can be reduced by the turn-off function of Active Brake Assist by braking if the driver fails to see oncoming traffic. 2019 Mercedes GLC Facelift rear

In terms of styling upgrades, the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC gets reshaped front and rear bumpers, a new grille, revised LED headlamps and tail-lamps and new alloys. The AMG variant comes with sporty body kit that has sportier bumper, new grille with diamond pattern inserts, rectangular exhaust pipes and new 19-inch or 20-inch wheels.

The 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC also gets a new petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology and a new diesel engine. The gasoline version gets the M264, 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder engine with a 48V mild-hybrid system. This engine offers two states of tunes – 197bhp/430Nm in regular version and 258bhp/520Nm in the GLC 300 4MATIC. The diesel version is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder unit that offers 3 states of tunes – 163bhp/360Nm, 194bhp/400Nm and 245bhp/560Nm. Also See – Mercedes-Benz CS200 launched

These engines are paired to a 9-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox along with a newly developed 4Matic four-wheel drive system. It gets new Dynamic Select system that offers multiple drive modes including Eco, Comfort, Sport, Sport+ and Individual modes. The company is also offering an optional Off-Road Engineering package that provides additional Off-road and Off-road+ drive modes.

In terms of features, the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC gets a 7.0-inch or an optional 10.25-inch infotainment system with a touchscreen function and the new MBUX system. The vehicle gets a new 12.3-inch digital display. Key-less entry and go is available in all variants.
