The Brazilian-spec Hyundai Creta Sport is powered by a 2.0-litre DVVY 16V flex-fuel engine. This means that the SUV can run on both petrol and ethanol. The petrol motor produces 156bhp of power and 187.32Nm of torque, while the engine with ethanol gives 166bhp and 201.04Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The suspension unit of the SUV has been stiffened to reduce body roll. It is quite early to comment whether this model will make its way to India or not. Keeping Creta’s growing demand in our market, Hyundai could launch this model as a special edition.
