Hyundai Creta has been one of the best-selling cars from the Korean automaker not just in India, but in global markets as well. In order to further boost its sales, Hyundai has introduced a new Creta Sport model for the Brazilian market. The Hyundai Creta Sport could also make its way to other developing nations including India.
The Creta Sport comes equipped with several new features and design changes that make it more rugged. In terms of exterior changes, the SUV gets black treatment all around the body including the blackened hexagonal grille and the new glossy skid plate. Besides, the outside rear view mirrors, 17-inch alloys, shark-fin antenna, roof rails and spoiler also get a black treatment. – Also See – Nissan Kicks – 5 Things To Know About Hyundai Creta Challenger

Black brushed aluminum finish can be seen around the air-conditioning vents and gear lever. The door handles come with chrome finish. Also See – New Vs Old Creta – What Are The Changes
The Brazilian-spec Hyundai Creta Sport is powered by a 2.0-litre DVVY 16V flex-fuel engine. This means that the SUV can run on both petrol and ethanol. The petrol motor produces 156bhp of power and 187.32Nm of torque, while the engine with ethanol gives 166bhp and 201.04Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The suspension unit of the SUV has been stiffened to reduce body roll. It is quite early to comment whether this model will make its way to India or not. Keeping Creta’s growing demand in our market, Hyundai could launch this model as a special edition.
