Piaggio Two-wheelers will soon roll out a new variant of its popular Vespa scooter in the Indian market. Called the new Vespa Notte, the scooter made its public debut at the 2018 Delhi Auto Expo. While the official launch date and price will be revealed in coming days, the new variant is reported to be priced at Rs 70,285 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Based on the Vespa LX 125, the new Vespa Notte will be stacked up against the newly-launched Suzuki Burgman Street, Honda Grazia, TVS Ntorq and Aprilia SR 125. Interestingly, the India-spec version looks completely different than the model sold in the global markets. In Vespa’s Indian product lineup, the Vespa Notte will sit below the Vespa LX 125.
