Tata’s sub-4 metre sedan – the Tigor is all set to receive a mild update ahead of the festive season. While the official launch of the new Tata Tigor 2018 facelift is slated to happen in coming days, the carmaker has released a couple of teaser pictures and a short teaser video. Besides the minor design upgrades, the new Tata Tigor 2018 will also receive a new colour scheme. Similar to the Nexon, this system could be compatible to the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with the navigation system. If offered, it will be reserved for the top-spec Tigor XZ (O) trim. Mechanically, the new Tata Tigor 2018 will be exactly similar to the current model. The petrol models will use the same 1.2L Revotron motor that’s good for 84bhp and 114Nm of torque, and the diesel variants will get the 1.05L Revotorq unit producing 69bhp with 140Nm of torque. All variants will come with a 5-speed manual transmission, while the select petrol models will be available with an AMT (automated manual transmission) gearbox.
