The 2018 Ford Aspire facelift comes in four trims – Ambiente, Trend, Trend+, Titanium and Titanium+.
The new Ford Aspire 2018 facelift is finally here. Launched at a starting price of Rs 5.55 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the sedan’s updated model comes with a host of new design bits, lots of new features and a more powerful petrol engine. While the petrol variants range from 5. 55 Rs lakh to Rs 7.24 lakh, the diesel models have been priced from Rs 6.45 lakh to 8.14 Rs lakh. The new Ford Aspire Titanium 1.5L TiVCT variant is available at Rs 8.49 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

The 2018 Ford Aspire carline is available in four trims – Ambiente, Trend, Trend+, Titanium and Titanium+. In the sub-4 metre sedan space, it will continue to take on the Honda Amaze, Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Tata Tigor and Hyundai Xcent. Ford claims that the service cost of the new Aspire will be 38 paise per km (petrol) and 45 paise per km (diesel), which is the lowest in the class. The company is also offer 5-year/100,000km warranty.

Design and styling of the updated Aspire looks exactly similar to the Figo sedan, which is retailed in South African market. Measuring sub-4 metre in length, the new Ford Aspire 2018 features new headlamps cluster, a new honeycomb pattern chrome grille, updated front bumper black design element housing the central airdam and round fog lamps at the front end. Similar to the old model, the new Ford Aspire 2018 facelift gets dual-tone beige and black interior with slightly restyled front seats and a foldable centre armrest. The dashboard looks refreshing with new SYNC3 infotainment system with an 8-inch touchscreen floating display. It supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. As mentioned above, the new Ford Aspire 2018 facelift receives a new 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine from the Dragon series that also powers the Ford Freestyle. It can make a top power of 95bhp at 6500rpm and a peak torque of 120 Nm at 4200rpm. The diesel variants continue to derive power from the same 1.5-litre, four-cylinder TDCI engine that’s good for 99bhp at 3750rpm and 215Nm between 1750rpm – 3000rpm.
Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic torque converter unit. The latter is available with the third 1.5-litre petrol engine option. The new 1.2L petrol engine delivers a claimed mileage of 20.4kmpl, which higher than the old petrol unit. The 1.5L diesel motor promises 26.1kmpl.
