2018 Maruti Ertiga Design Leaked

New-gen Maruti Ertiga (2018 Suzuki Ertiga) will make its global debut tomorrow at the 2018 IIMS in Indonesia.

While we all are eagerly waiting for the 2018 Maruti Ertiga (2018 Suzuki Ertiga) which is ready to make its world debut tomorrow, the exterior design details of the vehicle have been leaked online. Built on Suzuki’s ‘HEARTECT’ platform, the new-gen Ertiga will make its first public appearance at the 2018 IIMS (Indonesia International Motor Show).

Visually, the new-generation Ertiga looks more evolved and premium product than its predecessor. As per the leaked brochure scans, the MPV will see nine major design upgrades including new front chrome grille design, projector headlamps, LED rear combination lamps with light guides, new alloy wheels, fog lamps, smart entry, two point rear parking sensors, LED high mount stop lamp and electric foldable mirror with turn signal lamps. 2018 Maruti Ertiga Features Leaked

Besides these changes, the new Ertiga will receive newly-designed bumper and a more pronounced hood at the front end. The area behind the C-pillar seems to be stretched and this is the reason it looks slightly bigger than the current model. The D-pillar and quarter glass look similar to the Mitsubishi Xpander.

The new-gen Ertiga comes fitted with 15-inch alloy wheels and 185/65 R15 tyres. Other updates such as newly-designed rear bumper and tailgate, two parking sensors, new spoiler and a chrome stripe above the license plate recess have been made at the rear profile. 2018 Maruti Ertiga Interior Leaked

Interior, too, has been revised comprehensively. Key updates include a 6.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone integration, floating touchscreen with large black bezels, newly designed instrument panel and air vents, new Dzire-inspired dashboard and wooden inserts on the dashboard, door handles and the flat bottomed steering wheel. 2018 Maruti Ertiga will switch to a new 1.5-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine instead of the existing 1.3L MJD powertrain. The new oil burner will be more powerful than its replacement. Media reports also suggest that the MPV will use the new 1.5-litre VVT petrol engine instead of the current 1.4-litre K-series motor. Transmission options on offer will be a 5-speed manual and an AMT.
