2019 Ford Figo Facelift – 5 Big Changes
The 2019 Ford Figo facelift has witnessed minor design and feature changes.
Ford India recently introduced the updated version of its highly popular hatchback – Figo. The carmaker has dropped Trend and Titanium+ trims from the new Ford Figo 2019 facelift carline and added a new Titanium Blu variant. The new Blu trim features sporty design bits and a few additional features over the Ambiente and Titanium variants. Here’re five big changes that have been made to the new Ford Figo 2019 facelift.
1. More Affordable
The American carmaker has surely surprised buyers with competitive pricing. The new Ford Figo 2019 facelift is available in four petrol and three diesel variants priced from Rs 5.15 lakh to Rs 8.09 lakh. While the 1.2L Ambiente and Titanium models are offered at Rs 5.15 lakh and Rs 6.37 lakh respectively, the 1.5 Titanium automatic variant costs Rs 8.09 lakh. The 1.5L Ambiente and Titanium diesel models are made available at Rs 5.95 lakh and Rs 7.19 lakh respectively. While the new Titanium Blu petrol comes with a price tag of Rs 6.94 lakh, the Titanium Blu diesel is priced at Rs 7.74 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

2. More Powerful
Major change has been made under the hood. The new Ford Figo 2019 facelift comes with a new 1.2-litre petrol engine that belongs to Dragon family. The same powertrain also does duty in the Ford Aspire facelift. The new gasoline motor makes 95bhp with 115Nm of torque. The hatchback also shares the 121bhp, 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine with the EcoSport. The 99bhp, 1.5-litre TDCi diesel powertrain has been carried over from the pre-facelift model. 3. Refreshing Looks
The new Ford Figo 2019 facelift retains most of the design and styling bits from the pre-facelift model. Though, it looks refreshing with minor cosmetic changes including the new Mustang-inspired front grille, revised bumpers, blacked out headlamp, newly-designed taillamp and new alloy wheels. No changes have been made to the dimensions of the car.
4. More Features
Interior, too, has witnessed subtle tweaks. The carmaker offers a new 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with SYNC3, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as we have seen on the EcoSport. Features such as new seat upholstery, heated front seats, new interior scheme, rear parking sensors, electronic automatic temperature control are also on offer. 5. High On Safety
One the safety front, the new Ford Figo 2019 facelift is slightly better than the previous model. The list of standard safety features include ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic BrakeForce Distribution), engine immobilizer, dual airbags, front 3 point seat belts and rear seat belts. Safety fitments such as 6-airbags, rear parking camera with sensors and electronic stability programme are reserved for the high-end trim.
