Maruti Suzuki XL6 Waiting Period Goes Up To 2 Months
Maruti Suzuki XL6 is one of the important launches of the year. The 6-seater premium MPV, which is based on the new-generation Ertiga, has been made available in four variants (Zeta MT/AT and Alpha MT/AT) priced from Rs 9.79 lakh to Rs 11.46 lakh (ex-showroom).
It seems that the XL6 has been receiving good market response as its waiting period has already touched 2 months. Though, the premium MPV is available without any waiting period in select 7 cities.
Compared to the regular Ertiga, the Maruti XL6 is bigger measuring 4445mm long, 1775mm wide and 1700mm tall. It sits on a 2740mm long wheelbase, which is equivalent to the Ertiga. At the heart of the Maruti XL6 is a 1.5L VVT petrol engine benefited with SHVS mild hybrid technology. It can be had either with a 4-speed automatic torque converter or a 5-speed manual gearbox. As mentioned above, the Maruti XL6 has a 6-seater MPV featuring captain seats for the middle row occupants and two-seater bench for the third row passengers. Its all-black interior with stone finish and silver accents looks sporty.

The Maruti XL6 meets the new safety norms by offering dual airbags, seat belt reminder, reverse parking sensors, high speed warning alert and ABS with EBD as standard fitments. The list also includes hill start assist (AT only), electronic stability program (AT only), Isofix child seat mounts, central locking and more.
