Maruti XL6 Price, Specs & Other Details
Maruti Suzuki has launched an all-new sportier version of the standard Ertiga MPV in India. Called the Maruti XL6, the new model is available in the price range of Rs 9.79 lakh to Rs 11.46 lakh (ex-showroom). The new model is sold exclusively through the NEXA premium sales and service network. In the company’s product line-up, the Maruti Suzuki XL6 is positioned above the S-Cross.
The Maruti XL6 cross comes equipped with significant exterior and interior changes. Majority of the changes has been made at the front end of the car. It is a six-seater model with captain seats for all 3 rows. The XL6 cross is powered by a BSVI compliant 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine that also powers the regular model. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed torque convertor automatic.

The new XL6 6-seater is available in the petrol version only. It is powered by a new 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine that also powers the standard Ertiga. This engine is tuned to meet the upcoming BS6 emission norms. It produces a maximum power output of 103bhp at 6,000rpm and a peak torque of 138Nm at 4,400rpm. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic.
Maruti XL6 Mileage
The Maruti XL6 petrol manual is claimed to return an ARAI certified fuel economy of 19.01kmpl, while the petrol AT delivers 17.99kmpl.
Maruti XL6 Exterior
The new XL6 is basically the rugged version of the standard Ertiga MPV. It comes equipped with a completely new front fascia, which looks aggressive. It gets new bumper, rectangular fog lamp enclosures, faux brushed aluminum finished skid plate and a wider air intake. The Cross gets newly designed grille with two chrome in between with a chrome finished Suzuki logo at the centre. Adding to it, the Cross gets new projector headlamps with LED daytime running lights.
The side profile gets plastic cladding and black treatment for the alloy wheels, C and D-pillars, and outside rear view mirrors. The Cross also receives the signature NEXA Blue colour, which we have already seen on the Baleno, Ciaz, S-Cross and Ignis. The Maruti XL6 misses out on sunroof, but it gets roof rails. It comes with body cladding across its wheel arches and at the back. The rear end gets new bumper, roof-integrated spoiler and slightly revised tail-lights.
Dimensions
In terms of proportions, the new Maruti XL6 is bigger than the regular Ertiga. It measures 4,445mm in length, 1,775mm in width and 1,700mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,740mm. It comes with a boot space of 209-litres with all seats in position. The boot space can be further increased to 550-litres and 692-litres by folding the second and third row of seats.
Maruti XL6 Interior
The cabin of the new Maruti Suzuki XL6 has also been revised, featuring all-black interior with stone finish and silver accents. It gets new brushed aluminum finish on the dashboard along with piano black inserts. Other features include leather seats, leather wrapped flat bottom steering and a 7.0-inch Studio SmartPlay infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support and Voice command. It offers captain seats for the middle row passengers and bench type for the third row occupants. Safety features include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, cruise control, seat belt reminder, high speed warning alert, reverse parking camera, Hill Launch Assist, Electronic stability Program, etc.
