The Jeep Compass Limited Plus edition is reported to go on sale on 19th October, 2018.

Jeep India will soon expand its popular Compass SUV lineup with new variants. One of them will be the Jeep Compass Limited Plus, which is recently caught on the camera. Based on the range-topping trim, the Limited Plus edition is reported to go on sale around 2018 festive season. To be more specific, it might see a release on 19th October, 2018. However, the carmaker hasn’t yet revealed the launch details.

Considering Indians’ love for sunroof, the American carmaker will offer a panoramic sunroof on the new Compass variant as standard. It will also get 18-inch alloy wheels. With respect to safety, the Jeep Compass Limited Plus will get dual front, side and curtain airbags and rain sensing wipers as standard fitments. Other features will include electronic parking brake, electronic stability control, antilock braking system with electronic brakeforce distribution, child seat anchors – Isofix, hill start assist, active turn signals and more. Read – Upcoming Jeep SUVs In India

Under the hood, the Jeep Compass Limited Plus will feature the same 1.4-litre turbo-petrol and 2.0-litre diesel engine. The former delivers power worth 173bhp against 350Nm of torque, and the latter produces 163bhp with 250Nm of torque. Transmissions on offer will include a 6-speed manual and an automatic unit. As far as pricing is concerned, the Jeep Compass Limited Plus is estimated to be around Rs 1.5 lakh pricier than the top-spec Limited 4×4 (O) trim that costs Rs 21.94 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The company will also introduce the Compass Black Pack Edition and Trailhawk version of the SUV. While the former will hit roads in coming months, the latter will come in early next year.
