Volkswagen Taigun (Creta Rival) SUV Explained in a Hindi Video
Volkswagen has unveiled an all-new compact SUV, called the VW Taigun in the Indian market. The SUV is scheduled to make public debut at the 2020 Auto Expo, which is scheduled on February 7. The Volkswagen Taigun is scheduled to be launched in the Indian market in the first half of 2021.

The Volkswagen Taigun SUV will rival the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and the Nissan Kicks. It is based on the locally developed MQB AO IN platform, which will also underpin the Skoda Vision IN based SUV. The mid-sized SUV shares design highlights from global Volkswagen T-Cross SUV. The VW Taigun SUV features the signature Volkswagen grille, LED projector headlamps with LED daytime running lights, LED fog lamps and big bumper with wider air-dams. Other design highlights include chromed door handles and roof rails, 19-inch diamond cut alloys, roof-integrated spoiler, LED connecting tail-lights and skid plates.
The interior of the VW Taigun SUV comes with premium design, featuring a touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument console, leather seats and dual-zone climate control and rear air-con vents. The VW Taigun SUV will receive the new 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 150PS of power and 245Nm of torque. Power will be transmitted to the front wheels via a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. The SUV could also receive the 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that produces 115bhp of power and 200Nm of torque.
