Toyota’s Vitara Brezza will be significantly different; launch in 2020
Toyota’s version of the sub-4 meter SUV will be significantly different from the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza.
Toyota has recently launched the Glanza premium hatchback, which is also the first model under Toyota and Suzuki alliance. The Glanza is nothing but the re-badged version of the Baleno. Except for the revised grille pattern and Toyota Logo, the Glanza is completely similar to the Suzuki’s sibling. Toyota will also launch the Vitara Brezza based sub-4 meter SUV in India.
A new media report claims that Toyota’s version of the sub-4 meter SUV will be significantly different from the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza. Adding to it, Toyota will also launch the re-engineered and re-designed versions of the Wagon R EV and the Ciaz sedan in India in 2021 and 2022 respectively. The Japanese automaker will also introduce the re-badged Ertiga in India. Moreover, the duo will also jointly develop all-new C MPV/SUV that is scheduled to be launched in 2023.
The Toyota’s version of the Brezza is expected to receive all-new grille, new bumper and newly styled alloy wheels. The rear design is also likely to be revised with new tailgate, bumper and revised tail-lamp. It is also reported that the all the Toyota vehicles based on the Maruti Suzuki variants will come with hybrid solution in the future. Suzuki will also source a hybrid technology from Toyota, which will be used in Baleno, Vitara Brezza, Ertiga and Ciaz. Besides introducing the re-engineered Maruti, Toyota will also introduce heavily revised versions of the Toyota Innova and Fortuner for new regulations. The company could also offer a hybrid variant of the Yaris sedan.
