Toyota India has officially launched the limited edition of Etios Cross called Etios Cross X-Edition at Rs 6.64 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Toyota Etios Cross X special edition comes with a host of additional bits and new cosmetic updates. The company claims that the vehicle is loaded wth array of new features and sporting a more sporty and stylish look. While the car gets several add-ons, one of the most prominent changes is the new Quarts Brown exterior colour shade. The front features new grille with black finishing and fog lamp bezel, while the cladding at side has now been painted to match body colour.

The Toyota Etios Cross X-Edition comes with a host of special add-ons. To differentiate it from the regular model, Toyota has added a new X Edition badge on the C-pillar. Inside the cabin, the crossover gets a new carbon fibre finish the dashboard, new fabric seats and a 6.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system which also works as a display for reverse camera. Changes on the outside include new black accents on front grille and fog lamp bezels, body color cladding, black roof rails, diamond cut alloy wheels and rear roof spoiler. Adding to it, the limited edition Etios Cross also boasts of several safety features such as the dual front SRS airbags, ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) with Electronic BrakeForce Distribution (EBD), and front seat belts with pre-tensioner and force limiter. The special edition Etios Cross X continues to derive power from the 1.2-litre DOHC petrol engine with 79bhp of maximum power and the 1.4-lutre D-4D oil burner with 67bhp of top power. Power will be transmitted to the front wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox.

The new Toyota Etios Cross X is available with a 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder DOHC petrol unit that makes 79bhp at 5,600rpm against 104Nm torque. Diesel variant is propelled by the 1.4-litre, 4-cylinder, SOHC D-4D unit with 67bhp at 3,800rpm and 170Nm between 1800 to 2400rpm. Both the engines are paired to a conventional 5-speed manual gearbox.

The Etios Cross X-Edition comes with a host of new features including the new instrument panel with carbon fibre finish, new seat fabric, new black accents on front grille and fog lamp bezels and body coloured cladding. It also gets X-edition badge on the C-pillar and inside the cabin. This edition is also equipped with a 6.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with reverse camera display, reverse parking camera and leather wrapped steering wheel. For passengers’ safety and security, the special edition model gets dual front SRS airbags, ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic BrakeForce Distribution), and Front Seat Belts with Pre-tensioner and force limiter. Additionally, the crossover also gets a new Quartz Brown Color.
