Delhi Auto Expo 2018 is certainly one of the biggest global automobile events of the year.  And we have witnessed a handful of some really interesting unveiling and launches. The show was also more about the electric vehicles, greener technologies and innovations. One of the pavilions that has mixture of all these was indeed Toyota’s podium. The Japanese carmaker not only forayed into the premium sedan segment with the Yaris, it also showcased its globally popular Alphard hybrid luxury MPV. Besides this, the company revealed a brand new range of ‘Electrified Vehicles’ (EVs).

Here’s a complete list and details of all the Toyota cars at Auto Expo 2018.

1. Toyota Yaris

All new Yaris sedan was Toyota’s showstopper that will be positioned against the Maruti Ciaz, Hyundai Verna and Honda City. For the Indian market, Toyota has decided to go with petrol cars only. Therefore, the new saloon will come with a 1.5-litre dual VVT-I petrol powertrain that’s good enough for 105bhp and 140Nm. Transmission choices on offer will include a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed CVT. The Yaris will be one of the most feature-loaded cars in its league.

Some of the key highlights of the sedan include auto projector headlamps, alloy wheels, a 7-inch touchscreen multimedia system, Toyota Telematics system with navigation, automatic climate control, rear view camera, leather seat upholstery and steering mounted controls. The Yaris will be one of the safest cars in its segment loaded with (first-in-class) seven airbags including curtain and knee airbags, ABS with EBS, reverse camera and sensors, vehicle stability control, ISOFIX child restraint system, etc.
