Hyundai India will announce prices of the updated Venue on coming 16th June. The new model will receive a few cosmetic changes and feature upgrades, while its engines will remain unchanged. It will come in five trims (E, S, S+, S (O) and SX (O)) and 7 colour options. Interestingly, the subcompact model lineup will get a new Venue N-Line variant featuring sportier elements inside and out. Most of the design updates will be made at the front end including the newly-designed grille with dark chrome, revised bumper, tweaked taillamps and redesigned tailgate. The new Mahindra Scorpio-N is surely one of the most important car launches of this year. The SUV’s new-generation model will see a release on 27th June 2022. The Scorpio-N will come with an all-new design and have a more feature-packed and spacious interior. Under the hood, it will feature the new, more powerful 2.0L mStallion petrol and 2.2L mHawk diesel engines making 197bhp and 172bhp with 370Nm and 400Nm respectively. Both motors can be had with the 4X4 drivetrain system. The new-generation Maruti Brezza is ready to go on sale on 30th June 2022. Compared to the outgoing model, the new one will have better styling, more features and frugal engine setup. In terms of features, the new 2022 Maruti Brezza will offer a 360 degree parking camera, twin-dial instrument cluster, Head-Up Display, an electronic sunroof, new-gen telematics, electronic stability control, tyre pressure monitoring system, hill hold assist and more. Mahindra & Mahindra will introduce the updated TUV300 Plus as new Bolero Neo Plus in coming weeks. A few cosmetic changes are expected to be made including a newly-designed grille, updated front and rear bumpers, revised headlamps, new set of alloy wheels and tweaked taillamps. The side cladding will also be slightly updated. Features of the new Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus will be similar to the Bolero Neo. The SUV will come in 7 and 9-seats configurations along with the ambulance version featuring seats for four and a patient bed. Toyota’s all-new mid-size SUV, which has been co-developed with Maruti Suzuki, will make its global debut on 1st July 2022. If reports are to be believed, the model will be named – Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder. Design and styling of the new Toyota SUV will be different from its Maruti Suzuki’s counterpart. It will be inspired by the global-spec Toyota Corolla Cross. The Hyryder will underpin Toyota’s TNGA-B platform and will be manufactured at the company’s plant 2 in Bidadi, Karnataka. Reports suggest that the SUV could be offered with ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) along with the wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, connected car tech, powered driver’s seat and more. It will be powered by a 1.5L petrol engine that can be had with either mild hybrid or strong hybrid technology. Both manual and automatic gearboxes will be on offer. The updated Toyota Urban Cruiser is likely to launch by mid 2022. Major changes will be made to its exterior and interior that will be similar to the new-generation Maruti Brezza. Under the bonnet, the SUV will employ the new 1.5L Dualjet petrol motor pushing out a peak power of 103bhp and 136.8Nm of torque. It will be available with a 5-speed manual and a new 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox. The automatic variants will get paddle shifters. Maruti Suzuki is ready to enter into the mid-size SUV segment in the coming months. The model, which is codenamed D22, is likely to debut after the new Toyota Hyryder SUV. The latter will be unveiled officially on 1st July and its launch will happen in August or September 2022. The new Maruti SUV will be retailed via Nexa dealerships. Similar to the Hyryder, the D22 will be made available with the 1.5L petrol engine boosted with mild and strong hybrid technology. Most of its styling and feature updates will be similar to the Indonesia-spec model. The new 2022 Hyundai Creta facelift will feature the new Sensuous Sportiness design language, a new parametric grille, differently designed DRLs, revised bumper with slimmer and wider air-inlet, tweaked tailgate and new LED taillamps. The SUV will get a new 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and updated Hyundai’s BlueLink connected car tech. It could be offered with the ADAS suite. While there is no official word on its design and feature updates, the SUV is likely to come with the ADAS (advanced driver assistance system). Though, the autonomous suite could be reserved for the top-end variant. The new 2022 MG Hector is expected to be offered with the updated infotainment system featuring better user interface and a revised digital instrument cluster.
