Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus Launch In Late 2022 – Report

Mahindra & Mahindra introduced the new Bolero Neo subcompact SUV in July 2021. Currently, the model lineup is available 5 variants – N4, N8, N10 R, N10 and N10 Option – priced at Rs 9.29 lakh, Rs 10 lakh, Rs 11 lakh, Rs 11 lakh and Rs 11.78 lakh respectively. All aforementioned prices are ex-showroom. According to a fresh media report, the company will bring in the longer version of the SUV towards the end of 2022.

Called the Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus, the model will come with 7-seats and 9-seats configuration options. The third row might have side facing bench-type seats placed in the luggage area. The model will measure 4400mm in length, 1795mm in width and 1812mm in height. Its wheelbase will stand at 2680mm. It’s 5-seater version is 3995mm long, 1795mm wide and 1817mm tall. The Bolero Neo Plus will be offered in P4 and P10 trims.

2021 Mahindra Bolero Neo Features

For power, the Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus will the same 2.2L diesel engine that does duty in its 5-seater version. The oil burner delivers a peak power of 118bhp at 4,000rpm and 94bhp at 3,600rpm in the power and economy mode respectively. It can be had with either a manual or an automatic gearbox.

In terms of features, the 9-seater Bolero Neo Plus will offer a new instrument cluster with a new MID display, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity, tilt adjustable power steering wheel with mounted controls, electronically adjustable ORVMs, front arm rest, height adjustable driver’s seat, AC with Eco mode and more.

Meanwhile, the home-grown automaker is gearing up to launch the third-generation Scorpio on 27th June 2022. The new Mahindra Scorpio-N will carry more rugged design language, advanced features and more powerful petrol and diesel engines. Both manual and automatic gearboxes will be on offer. The 4X4 drivetrain system will be made available with petrol and diesel variants.
