Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Photos; Launch In July, Cheaper Than Bullet

Royal Enfield is working on a new range of motorcycles including the new Bullet, new Himalayan 450 and multiple 650cc bikes. Before launching these bikes, Royal Enfield will launch the much-awaited Hunter 350. The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 has been spotted testing multiple times. This time, clear pictures, specifications and launch details of the motorcycle has been leaked on the Internet.

Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Launch Timeline

It was speculated that the new Hunter 350 will be launched in June 2022. A new media report claims that the motorcycle will go on sale in the second half of July this year. While bookings are expected to commence in July, deliveries for the new Hunter 350 will commence by August 2022.

Expected Pricing – Most Affordable RE

The report claims that the Hunter 350 will be the most affordable Royal Enfield motorcycle in our market. The new motorcycle will be positioned below the next-gen Bullet 350, which will be launched sometime next year. It is expected to be priced around Rs 1.30 to Rs 1.40 lakh, ex-showroom.

In terms of pricing, the new Hunter 350 will become an alternative to the likes of the Yamaha FZ25, Bajaj Pulsar 250 and the Suzuki Gixxer. The Hunter will be targeted at people wanting to upgrade from 125-150cc motorcycle. Adding to it, the motorcycle will also aim at new buyers looking for an affordable retro-styled motorcycle.

Design

Codenamed J1C1, the new RE Hunter 350 is a moder retro roadster with design inspiration from Triumph Street Twin along with Royal Enfield’s pedigree. The motorcycle features a long, single-piece seat, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, and round shaped headlamp, tail-lamp, turn signals and mirrors. The motorcycle will have a low-seat height, which will make it more accessible to short height riders. The motorcycle will be lighter than the Classic and Meteor which weigh around 190-195kg.

Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Specs

The new Hunter 350 is based on RE’s J-platform that underpins the Meteor and the Classic 350. The motorcycle will share the frame, cycle parts and engine with the latest RE 350cc bikes. It will be powered by the same 3499cc, single-cylinder engine that powers the Classic 350. Coupled to a 5-speed gearbox, the 349cc engine churns out 20.2bhp and 27Nm of torque.
