New 2022 Hyundai Venue Facelift – Expected Prices, Features, Changes

Hyundai Venue will receive its first mid-life update in coming days. The carmaker will announce the new 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift prices on coming 16th June. The model will witness major design changes at the front and rear ends along with a bunch of new features. It’s engine setup, however, will be carried forward from the existing model.

Booking Amount

Buyers can pre-book the new Venue by paying a sum of Rs 21,000. Its deliveries will begin imminently after the price announcement.

Variants, Colours

The updated Venue model lineup will be spread across five trims – E, S, S+, S (O), SX and SX (O). There will be 7 exterior colour options to choose from, namely, Titan Grey, Typhoon Silver, Polar White, Fiery Red, Denim Blue, Phantom Black and Fiery Red with Black roof. Improved Styling

One of the major styling updates comes in the form of the new parametric grille with dark chrome treatment, which is inspired by the new-generation Tucson. The front bumper has also been revised and now it carries wider and more pronounced faux skid plate. While the split headlamp setup is similar to the outgoing model, its upper lighting elements have turn indicators that appear like an extension of the grille.

No changes have been made to its bonnet and doors. The new alloy wheels and wheel caps give it a refreshing look. The new 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift features slightly updated bumper and tailgate design along with the newly-designed taillamps. The taillamp clusters are now connected via an LED light bar as we have seen on the Kia Sonet.

New Features

The new 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift will have dual-tone (Black and Beige) interior theme. It’s likely to come with a full digital instrument cluster, a new steering wheels and controls. The carmaker might update its touchscreen infotainment system supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Features such as automatic climate control, an electric sunroof and an engine start-stop button will also be on offer.

Same Engine-Gearbox Combos

Under the hood, the 2022 Hyundai Venue will continue to feature the 1.2L MPi petrol, 1.0L turbo GDi petrol and 1.5L CRDi diesel engines. The 1.2L petrol motor, with a 5-speed manual gearbox, makes a top power of 82bhp with 114Nm. The turbo-petrol unit delivers 118bhp and 172Nm with iMT and DCT gearbox options. The oil burner pushes out a maximum power of 99bhp and 240Nm of torque.

2022 Hyundai Venue N-Line

The carmaker will add the new Venue N-Line variant to the subcompact model lineup. It will carry sporty elements inside and out including front and rear bumpers with red accents on their lower sections, ‘N’ badging on the front fender, red inserts on the roof rails, differently designed alloy wheels, dual-tip exhaust pipe, all-black interior theme with red accents and ‘N’ logos around the cabin.

Slight Price Increase

Prices of the new Hyundai Venue 2022 will be more or less similar to the existing model. Currently, it comes within the price range of Rs 7.11 lakh – 11.84 lakh (all, ex-showroom).
