A couple of days back, Tata Motors released a teaser video revealing today’s date (12th February, 2019) and the name of its highly popular hatchback – Tiago. The hip-hop song has become a digital rage among youngsters ever since its launch. Taking advantage of this new trend, Tata Motors released a new Tiago TVC – ‘Apni Hatchback – Tata Tiago’ – that will surely help attract buyers’ attention. The video highlights merits of the hatchback including engine power and acceleration, boot space, audio system and ABS technology.

Recently, the home-grown carmaker introduced ABS with EBD and cornering stability control as standard across the Tiago hatchback range. The company also scrapped the entry-level XB variant from the model lineup. Currently, the Tata Tiago petrol variants come in the price range of Rs 4.20 lakh – Rs 5.74 lakh. The diesel trims, on the other hand, are priced between Rs 5.00 lakh – Rs 6.49 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

Tata Motors will soon give the first mid-life update to the Tiago hatchback. The hatchback’s updated model recently caught on camera during its test rounds. The new Tata Tiago 2019 facelift is likely receive minor design changes and feature upgrades. Engine setup, however, will remain unchanged – i.e. a 83bhp, 1.2L Revotron petrol and a 69bhp, 1.05L Revotorq diesel.
