Tata Altroz To Launch Ahead Of Diwali
Tata Altroz, the upcoming premium hatchback from the home-grown carmaker, will hit showrooms just ahead of this festive season. The all-new hatchback from Tata was first previewed as the 45X concept at the 2018 Delhi Auto Expo, followed by its global debut at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. The carmaker has already dropped a few teaser videos of the Altroz revealing its exterior and interior details. The hatchback will feature sweptback headlamps with a chrome insert along the lower edge, ORVMs with gloss black surrounding and chrome trim, blacked out window frames, diamond cut alloys and frameless wiper blades.

The hatchback might get an app-based and Google powered voice activated functions. Other features include a steering wheel with mounted controls, an instrument console with digital tachometer and analogue speedometer.
Official details of the Tata Altroz are yet to be revealed. Though, it’s likely to come with three powertrains – the naturally aspirated 1.2L petrol, 1.2L turbocharged petrol and 1.5L turbocharged diesel. Initially, the hatchback will be made available with manual gearbox only. The automatic variant could be added to the lineup at a later stage.
