Offered on the top-spec variants, the Suzuki Ertiga Dreza gets styling tweaks to exterior and interior along with new features

Suzuki, the Japanese automaker has showcased a new variant of the Suzuki Ertiga at the ongoing GIIAS 2017. This edition is offered on the top-spec model and is available in two avatars. Besides Ertiga Dreza, Suzuki has also showcased the Ignis S-Urban concept at the Auto Show. The vehicle gets styling tweaks to exterior and interior along with new features.

Talking about exterior changes, the Ertiga Dreza gets a slightly revised front fascia with a new spiral grille. It has a bold chrome treatment on the hood, new foglamp enclosures and LED daytime running lamps. The flared wheel arches have been fitted to a newly designed 15-inch alloy wheels. Other features include side sill guards, a new roof mounted spoiler with a high-mounted stop light, re-styled rear bumper with a chrome garnish and a ‘Dreza’ badge.

The cabin too receives some changes in the form of new design elements and features. It gets wood trim on the dashboard and a dual-tone ‘Dark brown & Brown’ upholstery. The Suzuki Dreza also gets a 9-inch AVN touchscreen infotainment system that is compatible with Android Auto and iOS system, and a tweeter. ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) and EBD (Electronic BrakeForce Distribution), and dual airbags are offered as standard across the range. Also Read – Upcoming Maruti Cars In India

The Dreza GS variant showcased at the Auto show is painted in an exclusive Pearl Twilight Violet shade. In India, the Ertiga sits under 4 meter in length while the Indonesian model is longer and measures above 4 meter in length. It measures 4,265mm in length, 1,695mm in width, 1,685mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,740mm. The Ertiga MPV comes with a ground clearance of 185mm.

Powering the Suzuki Ertiga Dreza is the same 1.4-litre K-Series petrol engine that also powers the India-spec model. This engine is capable of producing a maximum power output of 90.74bhp and a peak torque of 130Nm. A five-speed manual gearbox driving power to the front wheels of the MPV comes as standard, while a 4-speed automatic gearbox is available as optional.
