Based on the regular Grand i10 model, the India-made 2017 Hyundai Grand i10X has been unveiled at the 2017 GIIAS in Indonesia
Hyundai, the South Korean automaker had launched the Grand i10X (cross version) in the Indonesian market in mid-2015. Now, the company has showcased the updated version of the India-made Hyundai Grand i10X at the GIIAS 2017. The base variant of the 2017 Hyundai Grand i10X facelift is priced at 170 million rupiah.
The 2017 Hyundai Grand i10X is manufactured by Hyundai India at its production facility in Chennai plant. The vehicle shares design changes and styling elements from the regular Grand i10 facelift, which was launched earlier this year. The cross version features a new black bumper with faux skid plate. At the back, the Grand i10X has a sporty bumper with chrome faux dual exhaust outlets and silver skid plate. The wheel arches have been fitted to 14-inch two-tone alloy wheel. The cabin of the Grand i10X looks identical to the regular Grand i10. Talking about features, the Grand i10X has a 2-DIN audio system, dual-tone theme for dashboard and seats, rear HVAC vents, etc.
Dimensionally, the Hyundai Grand i10X is 3,765mm long, 1,660mm wide and 1,655mm tall and has a wheelbase of 2,425mm. The company has raised the ground clearance of 15mm to 167mm for this cross version. It is powered by a slightly bigger 1.25-litre Kappa petrol engine that churns out 86bhp of maximum power and 119.64Nm of torque. Transmission duties are carried out by a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic unit.
