Suzuki Burgman Street 125 To Be Priced At 76,000 – Report

Suzuki Motorcycle India has announced that it will launch the Burgman Street 125cc maxi-scooter on July 19, 2018. While the launch is just a few days away, the price of the scooter has been leaked on the web. According to a latest FE report, the Suzuki Burgman Street 125 will cost Rs 76,000 (on-road) that includes a Suzuki helmet.

Official bookings for the vehicle have already been commenced. One can pre-book the scooter by paying a token amount of Rs 5,000. Previewed at the 2018 Auto Expo, the Burgman will be Suzuki’s flagship scooter that will be positioned above the Suzuki Access 125. Suzuki Burgman Street 125 has unique styling with features such as LED headlamps, a tall windscreen, a long seat and LED taillamps. It gets 12-inch front alloy wheels with 90/90 R12 tyres and 10-inch rear alloys with 90/100 R10 rear tubeless tyres. The maxi-scooter also comes with a pack of features including an all-digital instrument cluster, a multi-function key slot, 12V smartphone charging socket and a decent under seat storage space. The scooter makes use of the same powertrain that does duty in the Suzuki Access 125. The 124.3cc, single-cylinder motor makes a peak power of 8.4bhp at 6,500rpm and a peak torque of 10.2Nm at 5,000rpm. Suzuki offers CBS (Combined Braking System) as standard on the scooter. It also gets front disc and rear drum brakes. Damping duties are done via front telescopic forks and a mono-shock rear suspension unit. It has a kerb weight of 110kg, and offers a fuel tank capacity of 5.6-litres. The scooter will come in two colour schemes – Black and White.
