Next-gen Tata Safari Storme Rendering

The next-generation Tata Safari Storme is likely to be launched after 2020

Tata Motors is witnessing a great response for its new design language. The company introduced the IMPACT DESIGN philosophy with the Tiago hatchback, which later offered on the Tigor sedan and Nexon compact SUV. All 3 models are doing pretty decent for the homegrown automaker. Tata is now gearing up for the launch of the long-awaited Harrier SUV, which also mark the debut of brand’s new IMPACT 2.0 DESIGN philosophy. The new design language offers visual appeal to its cars, which will also be offered on the future models.

It is still unclear whether Tata will bring the next-generation Safari Storme. However, a new speculative rendering of the nex-gen Safari Storme based on the IMPACT 2.0 design language reveals the possible design.

The rendering has narrow swept back LED headlamps, a large grille similar to the current model and large wheels, body cladding and a long body to accommodate 7 adults. If next-gen model launch, it will meet the stricter safety norms. The company could retain the existing body-on-ladder chassis, which might be modified for better structural integrity. Similarly to the existing model, the next-gen model could offer four-wheel-drive layout. Read – Next-gen Safari Storme Could Use The Harrier’s Platform

It is expected that the next-gen Tata Safari Storme will come after 2020 and will be powered by a new BS6 compliant turbocharged diesel engine. The Harrier’s 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine could power the next-gen Safari Storme as well. Both manual and automatic gearbox options could be on offer.
