MG is gearing up for the launch of an all-electric internet SUV, the eZS in January 2020. Adding to it, the company is expanding customer service centres and around 250 showroom-cum-workshops will be introduced by March 2020.

MG will also launch the 6-seater derivative of the Hector SUV in the country in the first half of 2020. The company is also testing the Maxus D90 7-seater SUV, which will challenge the likes of the Toyota Fortuner and the Ford Endeavour.

We reported earlier that MG Motor is also considering an all-new compact SUV, which will be positioned below the Hector SUV. It is expected that the new compact SUV will be based on the Baojun RS-3, which was recently launched in the Chinese market. The SUV is likely to be unveiled at the 2020 Auto Expo. It will directly rival the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Renault Duster and the Nissan Kicks.
