Maruti Vitara Brezza Petrol, S-Cross Petrol, New Ignis Coming Soon
At the Auto Expo 2020, Maruti Suzuki India previewed a range of its upcoming and existing models along with the Futuro-e SUV-Coupe concept. In the showcased lineup, the 3 new Maruti Suzuki cars are ready for the launch including the Maruti Vitara Brezza facelift, Ignis facelift and S-Cross petrol.
While the carmaker hasn’t yet revealed their launch date and details, all three models are likely to go on sale before March, 2020.
The 2020 Maruti Vitara Brezza facelift is surely one of the much-anticipated launches from the house of Indo-Japanese carmaker. This time around, the subcompact SUV will drop the existing BS4 1.3L diesel engine and come with a new BS6-complinant 1.5L SHVS petrol motor. This naturally aspirated gasoline unit will offered with a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox option.
Minor changes have been made inside and outside the car. The 2020 Maruti Vitara Brezza gets new front grille and headlamps with LED DRLs, newly-designed alloys, revised bumpers, new dual-tone colour scheme and an updated SmartPlay touchscreen infotainment system with the latest smartphone connectivity.
The 2020 Maruti Ignis facelift will come with slightly improved styling and updated interior. The 82bhp, 1.2L K-Series petrol engine remains unchanged, albeit the BS6-compliant version. The compact car has also received two new colour schemes – Torquoise Blue and Lucent Orange.
Talking about the new S-Cross petrol, the crossover will come with the BS6-ready 1.5L K-Series SHVS petrol engine that will also be offered on the new Vitara Brezza. It pushes out a peak power of 104bhp and a peak torque of 138Nm. Both manual and automatic gearboxes will be on offer. No other changes will be made to the 2020 Maruti S-Cross petrol.
We will update you as soon as the carmaker announces their official launch dates. Stay tuned to IndiaCarNews.
