2020 Maruti Vitara Brezza Details

2020 Maruti Vitara Brezza facelift has finally made its debut at the Auto Expo 2020. The major update for the vehicle is the BS6-compliant 1.5L SHVS petrol engine that has replaced the BS4 1.3L diesel powerplant.

Maruti Vitara Brezza Petrol Specs

The SUV comes with two gearbox options – a 5-speed manual (standard) and a 4-speed torque convertor automatic (with SHVS only). The latter one is exclusively offered on higher variants. The vehicle also gets new colours – Sizzling Red with midmight Black roof, Torque Blue with midnight Black roof and Granite Grey with Autumn Orange roof. In terms of design and styling, the 2020 Maruti Vitara Brezza looks refreshing. The facelifted model gets a slightly wider chin splitting in two sections, new front grille and skid plates. While the LED projector headlamp design and shape remains unchanged, it gets new chrome bits and larger LED DRLs placed at the bottom. The fog lamps housings are bigger than before and the turn indicators have been shifted to the headlamp unit.

The LED fog lamps are offered only on the higher trim. There are faux skid plates for the front and rear bumpers. While the 16-inch diamond cut alloys are reserved for the top-spec ZXI+ trim, the mid-level variants get all-black alloy wheels. Minor changes have been made inside the cabin. The 2020 Maruti Vitara Brezza facelift comes with a new SmartPlay Studio infotainment system that also double as a display for the reverse camera. It supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay along with voice recognition function. The new Brezza also gets auto-retracting ORVM, auto-dimming and antiglare inside IRVM and gear shift indicator.
