Maruti Suzuki S-Presso Mini SUV Imagined Via Rendering
Maruti Suzuki S-Presso might see a release during 2019 festive season.
In order to tap the mini SUV segment, Maruti Suzuki India is ready to bring in the S-Presso during 2019 festive season. The vehicle is currently in its testing phase, and has been caught on camera multiple times. With new spy pictures on the web, this rendering imagines a production-ready look at what it could look like. It shows a sharp, stylish design while retaining most of bits from the Maruti Suzuki Future S concept that was previewed at the 2018 Delhi Auto Expo.
The front fascia draws cues from the concept including high-mounted headlamps, fog lamp assembly, bumper with black cladding and bonnet. Though it shares lots of elements with the concept, there are some unique cues that distinguish the production model. It features a honeycomb grille and small alloy wheels. Other key features include a slightly sloppy roofline, dual-tone ORVMs, black cladding around the body, a high waistline and a thick C-pillar.
Interior of the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso remains a mystery, but its top-end trim is likely to adopt a touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity. It might also get a new dashboard design with several other comfort and safety features. The new mini SUV from the Indo-Japanese carmaker will meet the upcoming crash test and BS6 emission norms.
Power for the Maruti S-Presso should come from a 1.0L, 3-cylinder petrol engine. The mini SUV lineup will be made available with both manual and AMT gearbox options. Prices of the vehicle are estimated to start from 4 lakh.
