India’s largest SUV maker, Mahindra & Mahindra is planning to launch the first major facelift of its premium off-road SUV – the Bolero. The new Mahindra Bolero 2016 is likely to be rolled out towards the end of this year. The SUV’s facelifted model has been recently spotted testing on Indian roads. The new Bolero will see mild cosmetic and feature updates, while the engine will remain unchanged. Just so you know, the Bolero had received common rail direct injection (CRDe) diesel powertrain in 2008.
According to reports, Mahindra is also working on sub-4 meter SUV (codenamed U108) that will be based on the Bolero.
The 2016 Mahindra Bolero facelift is expected to hit showrooms towards the end of this year. However, Mahindra hasn’t yet confirmed launch details of the SUV.

The spy shots suggest that the 2016 Mahindra Bolero facelift will receive a re-designed rear bumper and revised tailgate handle. The interior, too, will see minor feature updates including new seat covers, dashboard with new finishing and some other new equipment.
