KTM 390 Adventure Launch Price

KTM has finally rolled out the 390 Adventure in India at Rs 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). At this price point, it takes head-to-head against the BMW G 310 GS and Kawasaki Versys X-300 that cost Rs 3.49 lakh and Rs 4.69 lakh respectively. Previewed at the 2019 India Bike Week, the KTM 390 Adventure is around Rs 30,000 more expensive than its naked sibling – KTM 390 Duke.

For power, the KTM 390 Adventure uses a 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that does duty in the KTM 390 Duke. The BS6-compliant motor pushes out a maximum power of 43bhp at 9,000rpm and 37Nm of torque at 7,000rpm. The transmission duties are taken care of by a 6-speed gearbox. It also gets a bi-directional quick-shifter as a standard feature. Read – KTM To Launch 4-5 New Bikes In India Over 12 Months

Sitting on the lightweight trellis frame, the KTM 390 Adventure runs on 100/90-19 front and 130/80-17 rear Metzeler Tourance tyres. Unlike the global model that comes with the adjustable suspension setup, the India-spec KTM 390 Adventure gets non-adjustable 43mm USD fork upfront unit. The rear monoshock suspension is adjustable.

Compared to the KTM 390 Duke, the new 390 Adventure offers long travel WP suspension (170mm upfront and 177mm rear). The braking system of the bike includes a 320mm rotor on the front wheel and a 230mm rear disc brake.

Features such as switchable traction control, off-road ABS, cornering ABS, optional turn-by-turn navigation, KTM MyRide smartphone connectivity and a full-colour TFT display screen similar to the 390 Duke are also on offer.
