Both models will receive the BS6-compliant version of the existing 649cc, parallel-twin, air/oil-cooled engine, which is already boosted with fuel injection technology. The bikemaker might revise its engine map and give a different treatment to its exhaust system in order to make it BS6-compliant. Currently, the motor (BS4) returns a claimed power of 47bhp and 52Nm of torque. Read – Royal Enfield Bullet 500, Thunderbird 500 Not On Sale Anymore?
